If you are voluntarily on this page, you might be wondering who Kris Skopek is. Well, let me tell you! Kris (he/they) is a 23-years-old writer, artist and photographer born and raised in the Czech Republic, yet residing in the capital of Wales, Cardiff. 

Their artistic language, consisting of words and images, serves as a medium by which they are able to explore the psychological and philosophical aspects of human life. A reflection of the world with subtle hints of sentimentality is regularly present in their work. Their desire to dive deeper into people’s Self, their personalities, emotional responses, self-expression, individualism, and actions, and to explore the full state of mind is highly visible. It serves as a way of self-discovery, but also as an understanding of the unknown. 

Their photographs are often enriched by the aesthetical aspects of things and by the thin line between symmetry and asymmetry.

Having previously studied BA Advertising Design, and currently being in the final year of the BA Photography course at University of South Wales, gives them knowledge of the commercial side of their craft.

What makes Kris stand out is their undying love for what they do. Does that sound cliche? Perhaps, but it is factual.
